Dr Krithika Iyer serves as a Board Certified staff Psychiatrist/Medical Director at Sandy Pines Residential Treatment Center. Dr Iyer did her residency training at University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri and completed Child fellowship at University of Miami School of Medicine. She has extensive experience in both Private Practice of Psychiatry as well as teaching. She has worked with both Adult and Child population in the community and has had the privilege to be on staff at several hospitals and treat patients in outpatient setting. She is currently a volunteer preceptor at University of Miami, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and previously has been affiliated with FIU College of Medicine in training medical students. She is also an active member at the Florida Psychiatric Society. She has a passion in working with children and their families to provide quality Psychiatric care.
Dr. Bartucci serves as Staff Psychiatrist for Sandy Pines Residential Treatment Center. A graduate of Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL, he completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Florida, College of Medicine. He is one of only a handful of physicians in the country to hold Board Certifications in the four specialty areas of General Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He has been a Member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry since 1992. Dr. Bartucci has been in practice for over 25 years and has worked in a variety of treatment settings. He is a former faculty member in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Florida, College of Medicine. He has published and participated in national presentations in the areas of sexual abuse, post- traumatic stress disorder and substance use disorders. His approach to treatment is based on creating a team with his patients, their families and other providers.
Mary Birse, PMHNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner board certified in psychiatric mental health. Mary graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. Mary participated in the VA’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Residency Program in Charleston, South Carolina. Following that, she was on staff at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center’s Mental Health Clinic. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Mary was an adjunct professor in the College of Nursing at Palm Beach State College. Mary was Nurse Manager at Sandy Pines and has now returned to the residential treatment center in the role of nurse practitioner.
